Indianapolis in September is one of my favorite times of the year. For one it is my birthday month! Hello to all the Virgos! So, I definitely have some things I want to do this month to celebrate. However, we are going to focus on the family stuff you can do this month.

Indianapolis Apple Picking & Pumpkin Patches
Fall season is coming (if it’s not already here) which means visiting the local Pumpkin Patches in Indianapolis and it’s apple picking season. We love Tuttle Orchards and we picked apples last year in August. At Tuttles Orchards, you can pick your own pumpkins (and apples too depending on how early in October you go), apple cider, hayrides, and more activities for the family to enjoy. Daniel’s Vineyard 4th Annual Grape Stomp
Bring the entire family for a day of fun with live music, food trucks, and outdoor games on September 8th!
It’s free to stomp but ticketed time slots will be given upon arrival, space is limited so be sure to get there early. Time slots will be given on a first come, first served basis! Stomping will be at 1-3pm & 4-6pm! RSVP here.

Enjoy the Oktoberfest a little earlier this year. Fishers is having their Fishers Oktoberfest at Saxony. Admission is free and you can enjoy German food, beer and and fair food at a small price. Bring a canned food to be donated to a local food pantry. Find out more about the Fishers Oktoberfest.

The Super Run
This is a summer fun event if you enjoy being outdoors, doing something for a great cause and/or working out. The Super Run is a national series of 5k running events that partners with non-profit organizations to put on superhero themed events to help raise funds and awareness for their cause.
