Happy November! If you are in or around the city this time of year here are 5 must do things in Indianapolis in November with your family.
Indianapolis in November
Check out the International Festival. It’s going on from November 10-12, 2016 and held at the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds. This festival allows the family to try ethnic foods, learn about different cultures and witness the diversity around. There is also a Parade of Nations on the last day , which is fun to see. Tickets range from $6- $10 and children under 6 are free.
Indy Donut festival
If you like donuts, then the Indy Donut festival is a given. On November 5 at 11am at the SpeakEasy is the place to be. This the first annual Indy Donut festival and I definitely think we are in for a treat.
Downtown Indy, Inc.’s Circle of Lights is big must do for the family! Happening on November 25, 6-8pm. Head down to Monument Circle the Friday after Thanksgiving to celebrate the lighting of 4,784 lights. Travelocity named the Circle of Lights® one of the top five “must-see Christmas trees” in the nation. Free.
Reynolds Farm Equipment Light
Lights displays are great to see, but make sure to check out Reynolds Farm Equipment Light display. Open the day after Thanksgiving, drive by on 12501 Reynolds Drive in Fishers for this is a sight to see. This light display is for a good cause – Fishers Come to Me Food Pantry. Event is free but donations are collected for the Fishers Come to Me Food Pantry.
You are invited to a birthday party! The City Market is having their 130th Birthday Celebration on November 11. Enjoy carnival-like games, a slice of birthday cake, and even have the ability to make birthday cards for the historic landmark! The party starts at 5pm and ends at 9pm. Free.
