3 Reasons You Should Have Date Night at Punch Bowl Social
Food
If you are looking for something that is a little different but not too much out of your comfort zone, you will love this. The food we had was amazing. Here is what we had –
Buttermilk biscuits with ginger & strawberry jam
Li’l Street tacos that are made with cocoa dusted pork carnitas, salsa adobo, crema, radish, queso cotija, yellow onion, cilantro and lime. We highly recommend this dish. In fact, we got two because they are that delicious.
Fritter Macaroni Cheese Bites
Chicken and Waffles
Spaghetti & Meatballs
We had a lot to eat and we very much enjoyed our meal. Fun fact – Celebrity Chef Hugh Acheson (Top Chef Masters) designed the menu so that it has a gastropub with a southern inspired food.
Fun
Punch Bowl Social has various activities that you can do all in one convenient location. Once we were done with dinner, we checked out all the fun that was available to us. Now, for date night you can do at least 1-2 activities. We played darts. Even though I am to the best, darts are one of my favorite games.
They have an arcade area.
You have 3 bowling areas to choose from. This one is more intimate for a date night (or double date night).
They also have a fun photo booth, karaoke rooms, giant jenga, corn hole and fun other games for friendly competition.
Experience
The place is beautiful on the inside. They have 3 bars for great convenience. So, even though it is a big place you don’t have to wait long for your drink.
We tried the Valentine’s seasonal punch – Shot Through the Heart. This modern drink is made with Old Forester bourbon, Teakoe pear tea, pear syrup, strawberry cinnamon shrub and lemon juice.
The atmosphere is fun and sophisticated. You can seat on high top tables with stools or big comfy booths like this one. We choose the booth because – date night. We don’t often get tp seat right next to each other in complete comfort and enjoy a great meal (that I did not have to cook).
Fun fact – The tables at Punch Bowl Social are made from trees that were destroyed by beetle infestation.
The staff at Punch Bowl Social is amazing. I am by far the worse customer, but I do ask some questions. Andy is just happy to hang out with me and goes with the flow. 😊 Our waitress was great. The staff answered any questions we had about the food and the activities and explained how things worked. They also made the date night experience wonderful.
We ended the night with this beautiful photo by the I love you wall.
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. So, if you are looking for a great experience, great food & drinks and great fun all in one place then check out Punch Bowl Social. It’s a one stop shop for everything you want for a date night, especially for this Valentine’s Day season. Cheers to a great a date night.
