July is here and I cannot believe that summer is officially here. There are so many fun things to do in July. If you are in or around the city this time of year here are 5 must do things in Indianapolis in July with your family.

Taste of Indy
Come downtown and taste great food. Experience the fun of getting outside, enjoying downtown Indianapolis, getting to know local people and local food and enjoy being with your family. July 1st from is the Taste of Indy and you can enjoy foods variety from Asian, Soul, Greek, Mediterranean, Cajun, Hispanic, and American. Enjoy live music all day from Indy’s best live, local musical artists. Check out the Kids Play area and the Wine & Beer Garden as well.

Colts Training Camp Open Practice
The Colts Training Camp has changed this year. Practices will be closed to the public, but fans will have the opportunity to attend two off-site practices at local venues. On July 30, the Colts will have a Colts Training Camp Open Practice & Movie Night. This practice is free and open to the public and will include Colts City/Touchdown Town, Colts Cheerleader autographs and more. The evening will conclude with the movie, Sing, being broadcasted on the jumbotrons inside the stadium at 5:00pm.

Indianapolis Indians Game
America’s favorite past time has started back up this season. Check out the Indianapolis Indians at Victory field. There are several home games during the weekend (Friday through Sunday) this month. Join the Knot Holes Kids Club if you haven’t already. The Knot Hole Kids Club is open to children 14 and under for a one-time fee of $17. Also, kids eat free on Sundays if you aren’t up for cooking.

Johnson County and Agricultural Fair
County the fair festivities with the Johnson County & Agricultural fair. If you enjoy fairs then come out to enjoy food, fun and rides. Other festivies to check out at the Johnson County fair – baby contest, Little Miss & Mister contest, parade (July 15th), talent contest and more.
