This mama grew up in the south. I am talking warm weather, pools opened 8 months out of the year, sweet tea and sunny, mild weathers. I am now a transplant in the Hoosier state and mild weathers are no more. Now, I am collector of jackets, boots and scarves. If I never had to walk in snow or drive in snow, I would be okay with that. I think it looks better from the inside looking out anyways. However, as mama whose kids have no temperature gauge of coldness, like being outside and love the snow staying inside is not always on their agenda. I am thankful they enjoy being outside , whether it be warm or cold outside. They are kids and I get it.
This winter, thanks to Babybel, we got have a little fun for both me, the hubby and the kids. Mini Babybel sent a weekend fun pack. We stayed home one day this past weekend and out the next. The kids super excited when we told them we had a surprise for them.
The kids are quite creative and we are happy to encourage them whenever we can. They were so excited to see the fort that I had to ask them to stop attacking me as I was trying to put it down for them to play with in the living room. Can’t blame them though, it’s a fort!

It’s hard telling kids to take a break from an AMAZING fort so, we enjoyed having snack time in the living room with one of our favorite snacks, mini Babybel. My kids love this snack. Mini Babybel is a 100% natural cheese with the unique, rich and creamy taste. They enjoy opening them (they enjoyed a couple for me and hubby) and eating them in the living room (we don’t eat messy foods in the living room).
They following day we were supposed to see a movie and play a game ( we try to do Sundays as game night), but the idea of snacks and building a fort a few more times was more exciting. And, I was okay with that. Family time is what is most important whether inside or outside.
