I am on the leggings bandwagons. Seriously, where was I when this trend started?! Now, I am on the quest to find the best pair of leggings. I am not interested in Lularoe (yes, I know, but no thank you!) Leggings are the new trend among moms and I loving it.
I bought my first pair of leggings many months ago, but I did not embrace leggings until the past few months. They were a nice pair of black leggings that felt great. They made my butt look amazing and were more dressy. Then I saw all the outfit combinations I could put together and not be frumpy – sold. So, now I am on the quest. Now, there are leggings everywhere just like they are t-shirts everywhere. However, finding the best one means doing some searching.
So, I asked on my Facebook page – Where did you buy your best pair of leggings? PS Not Lularoe
Now the responses were great. And lots of friends loved the question, so it is nice to know that I am not the only one looking for the best pair of leggings out there. Still had some friends mention Lularoe. First of all, if you love Lularoe. I get it. Their patterns and styles of leggings are extremely cute! I just couldn’t wait that long and have to put dibs on Facebook post or throw a party or have online party for my leggings. Plus, I just did not think they were me. For me, there is nothing worse than spending money on clothes you don’t 100% love, then being harassed about it.

My Search for the Best Pair of Leggings
These were all great recommendations. I decided to check out Nordstrom since they had the Hue leggings and I have long legs. Unfortunately, they were out of leggings in store (my luck). But the store associate was great in helping me find other leggings in the store.
Now, the joy of trying them was another adventure. I know my size will. It is always discouraging to try something on in your size and it does not fit. Case and point.
Yeah, that happened. This is was a local brand too. This is the first one I tried, so only one way to go is up right? All of moms recommended high waisted leggings. I found the Zella in both a high waist leggings and slimming leggings style and they were highly recommended by the sales associate. I fell in love.
Sold (see the smile on my face). Zella fit well. I got the high waisted over the slimming because it like a spanx built in. The price was a little more than I expected to pay but I had a Nordstrom giftcard to help. I came out looking one brand and found another. I will check the other brands soon, but here’s a great find for the best of pair of leggings a mom can buy.
