If the family is heading outdoors for the day, you might consider applying some lavender oil to any exposed skin. This helps repel buts like mosquitos that might come and land on you. They naturally don’t like the smell of lavender oil, that is why it is also great to plant lavender in your garden as well. If you do get a bug bite, rub some lavender on the bite, to help soothe it, as lavender offers anti-inflammatory properties.
Freshen Potpourri
Love the look of a bowl of potpourri but it doesn’t offer any aroma anymore? Add a few drops of essential oil to the potpourri mix, give it a stir and your home will offer a nice refreshing scent. Works well in areas where you family make the stinkiest such as bathrooms and entryways with all the shoes.
Acne Treatment

Add one to two drops of oil into a lukewarm bath and wash your body with the water, to help reduce fever in you or your kids.

Add 1 drop of lavender oil into your mascara and shake it up. Then each time you apply your mascara it will help coat your lashes helping them grow thicker and longer. One drop works for the entire use of the bottle.
