It’s Tasty Tuesday, Eghe and I decided to try a new place for lunch. I have a special place in my heart for a good deli and, since this particular one was near one of my favorite doctor offices, I thought we should take a look at Geist Bakery.
When you walk in you are bombarded with all the tasty treats you can get, including some of the largest chocolate covered strawberries I have seen in a long time and the flakiest croissants. The owner greeted us with a smile and treated us just like old friends. I got the ruben and Eghe got the buffalo chicken wrap. My sandwich was made with really tasty pastrami. Ron, the owner, really took his time and used his artistry to make the sandwich. I was not only satisfied but I was stuffed!
Eghe’s buffalo chicken wrap was pretty big too! Full of fresh produce and tender slices of buffalo chicken.
My favorite part of this afternoon’s exploration of local hidden treasures? Spending time with my best friend.
Next time I want to try the egg salad, as was recommended to me. If you’re looking for a tasty place to try some yummy food, stop by Geist Bakery. I can’t wait to try some of their desserts. For now, I am stuffed and happy!

It’s located in the Geist area in the plaza. Their address is 8150 Oaklandon Road (near Geist Family Medicine & Pediatrics).
