Tween Girl Costume Ideas for Halloween

This post may contain affiliate links, which I earn a small commission for purchases when you click on products I love and recommend.

Looking for tween girl costume ideas? I got you. Sometimes, what is on the shelves for tween girls are not necessarily what I want my daughter to wear. I want her to have options that are stereotypically or make her sexy in anyway. So, we came out with some tween girl costume ideas that any parent would be buy or diy for their tween.

Tween Costume

This is what Victoria wants to be a scarecrow for Halloween. I love this idea because it definitely embodies what fall season and is a fun. The makeup can be fun to do depending on how easy or elaborate you want to get. I like this scarecrow makeup tutorial. You can DIY this costume with some overalls, add some patches (cut some plaid shirts from Goodwill), get some straws of hay and scarecrow hat.

 Wakanda Halloween Costume

Wakanda forever. I love this fierce warrior Dora costume from Black Panther. If you have a tween who is into Marvel this is great costume idea. I am not sure how one can DIY this costume, but if you know how or have seen a tutorial please comment below and share.

Tween Girl Mummy Costume

The mummy costume is a simple and classic Halloween idea. You can also DIY this costume with white leggings or tights and a white t-shirt. But an extra white t-shirt & leggings to rip or you can buy string material, string scarf or use tissue to wrap up in. Either tie dye to stain or simply use some spray paint to achieve the dirty look.

Tween Costume Ideas

The iconic Rosie the Riveter is a great costume for tween girls. This is also a simple DIY with some jeans, jean shirt, and a red banana. Also, use a name patch and use form double sided tape if you don’t want to sew the name patch on jean shirt.

Day of the Dead Girl Costume

What you could be more fitting than a Day of the Dead costume for Halloween. This is just one dress idea. There are other ideas as a Day of the Dead Bride and ??. You can check Day of the Dead makeup tutorials if you are good or if you are like me check out this temporary Halloween face tattoos and hair accessories to help complete the look.

Also, if you have a daughter who creative with makeup or you good yourself ( I am know I am not) than you can do some Halloween makeup. Here are some ideas.
