You have heard the term hands free? No, maybe unplugged may be a better term. Basically being in the moment and letting go of daily distractions of your phone, social media, emails. I am not saying give up, perhaps takes more breaks. However, if you are feeling compelled to give up, you can do that as well. Using technology everyday seems like must in our lives and it has great benefits. Technology has also allowed us to create an unhealthy attachment for us and sometimes we need to put it down, walk away and take a break. Easier said than done, I know. Well, I love this infographic as a guide to unplugging. Please read it as it explains why, how and tips on how you can unplug just a little everyday that will not make you feel as if you having a caffeine withdrawal.
What will you do to hand free today?

I have the do not disturb enabled on my phone. I still get crappy sleep, but that’s from a crappy bed. We all need to detach from time to time. I had a great time being detached this weekend.

I unplug every chance I get but someone taught my mom how to text and if I don’t answer right away, she either calls my home phone or comes to check on me. I’m going to shoot my sisters for teaching her how to text :).
